1. What is a DTF logo?
DTF (Direct to Film) is a printing technique in which an image is printed onto a special film and then transferred onto fabric using heat. This ensures vibrant colours and a durable print.
2. On which materials can a DTF logo be applied?
DTF logos can be applied to almost all fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blended materials. This makes the technique more versatile than traditional printing methods.
3. How long does a DTF print last?
With proper washing and care, a DTF print can last a long time without fading or cracking. It is recommended to wash clothing inside out at a low temperature and not to put it in the dryer.
4. How can I apply a DTF logo?
A DTF logo is applied with a heat press at approximately 160-170°C for 10-15 seconds. The film is then carefully removed and a second pressing can help to improve durability.
5. Can I iron on a DTF logo myself?
Although a heat press is recommended for best results, some DTF transfers can be applied with an iron. Make sure to apply firm pressure and use a piece of baking paper between the iron and the transfer.
6. How do I wash and care for clothing with a DTF logo?
  • Wash inside out at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
  • Do not use bleach or aggressive detergents.
  • Do not tumble dry, but allow to air dry
  • Do not iron directly onto the print
7. Are DTF logos environmentally friendly?
DTF printing technology uses less water than traditional screen printing techniques and often works with environmentally friendly inks. The durability of the print also contributes to less waste.
8. Can I remove a DTF logo?
DTF logos are designed to adhere permanently, but can sometimes be carefully removed with heat and a solvent. However, this may cause damage to the fabric.
